That is why the travel organization provides ongoing support for the protection of the temperate rainforest in Western Canada. “The fabulous natural areas that our travelers enjoy are also close to our hearts,” says director Elske Doets. “For that reason, we support a non-profit organization like ‘Pacific Wild’. It helps preserve the habitat of bears in Western Canada, ensuring that future generations can also admire the unique flora and fauna of the temperate rainforest.”

Pacific Wild
Pacific Wild is a Canadian non-profit organization dedicated to preserving wild nature in Western Canada, working closely with local communities. The driving forces behind the organization are Ian McAllister and his wife Karen.
Our donation in 2024: CA$ 27,000
In 2024, Doets Reizen once again made a significant donation to Pacific Wild, in collaboration with longstanding partner Fraserway RV. “Doets Reizen is proudly donating CA$ 27,000 to this meaningful cause,” says Elske Doets. "Besides the fact that this amount helps ensure the magnificent nature and wildlife in this special area remain as intact as possible today, the true sense of fulfillment lies in the long term. It lies in the idea that we can ‘transfer’ this beloved natural environment to a future in which we are no longer present, but where our children and grandchildren can hopefully still enjoy the same wealth of natural beauty.”
