Verzekeringen

Met de basisverzekering 'VIP verzekering' (bij de huurprijs inbegrepen), ben je minimaal verzekerd. Je eigen risico met deze verzekering is ook US $1.500,- en je hebt geen rechtsbijstand. 

Dan is er nog de optionele aanvullende aansprakelijkheidsverzekering, welke dekking biedt voor auto aansprakelijkheid voor bedragen boven de staatslimieten en tot $500.000,- tegen claims van derden door lichamelijk letsel en/of materiële schade. 

Ons advies: VIP verzekering van Mighty Campers en Doets Plus Pakket. 

Bij ongeval of schade dien je Mighty Campers binnen 24 uur te informeren per telefoon via 1-800-367-4707 of per email via [email protected]. Laat te allen tijde een politierapport opmaken en vraag Mighty Campers altijd om goedkeuring voor de uitvoer van reparaties die duurder zijn dan US$ 75,-. 

Houd er wel rekening mee dat je opgelopen schade bij Mighty Campers dient te vergoeden tot het bedrag waarvoor je bij hen aansprakelijk bent. Indien je de Doets Plus Pakket hebt afgesloten kun je dit bedrag (mits het binnen de voorwaarden valt) bij terugkomst in Nederland op de verzekering verhalen.

Defecten en reparaties aan o.a. GPS, TV, radio, airco, generator, magnetron, cruise control, koelkast, diepvries, verwarming, warmwatervoorziening, levelling system, slide-out en zonnescherm zijn uitgesloten van deze dekking aangezien deze niet worden gezien als mechanisch defect.

Boetes (door bijvoorbeeld verkeer- en parkeerovertredingen) en kosten voor tolwegen zijn voor eigen rekening. Mighty Campers krijgt deze kosten vaak achteraf en zal deze dan ook naar Doets Reizen toesturen, welke wij dan naar de klant sturen.

This voucher is developed by Doets Reizen and its purpose is to provide you with additional information regarding the Doets Plus package insurance. We kindly ask you to read this explanation and act upon it. The Doets Plus package is sold by Doets Reizen to all its clients travelling in the USA, Canada or Europe by rental car/motorhome. All clients carrying this voucher have taken out this insurance and paid premium to Doets Reizen before departure from the Netherlands. The Doets Plus package is specifically designed to cover all risks that arise from limited or no coverage in basis insurance of carcompanies. As a result it provides our clients with excellent coverage of which you will find a summary enclosed.

Please be informed that in the event of loss or damage to the vehicle our clients will pay up to their responsibility with you according to the rental contract. Our clients will claim this amount from their Doets Plus package insurance upon return in the Netherlands. As you can read our clients are insured properly, are informed about the deposit and therefore do NOT need additional insurance.
